need help on a old dodge !

OK here is my question
i just rebuild the trans on this 1973 dodge motor-home -and even my buddy who is the trans expert .
cant remember for sure what type of trans fluid it takes
its been so long ago that he worked on one of this year !
he said that that was around the time Chrysler changed from type f - to dextron - anyone here have this answer ?
if it matters its a chrysler 727 trans !
