Bye Bye Z

Post by chottoED »

Made the move to change cars... loved the Z... but hated the service and need more space.

Only thing left ot do is get a nice spoiler... should I get it from the dealer? Ebay and then have dealer install? or Ebay and then 3rd party? (if 3rd party can anyone recommend one around Chicago?)

Very nice. But why do you need all those wheels?

i like it... it's fun to drive for a sedan...
changing out the stock filter for an k&n helped it breathe a bit better
stock tires suck ass so i'm going to change them asap (drive so hard their about to bald)

i've already 25k on it in just over a yr

but if you want really the perfect balance of sportiness and ride quality... i'd get the bmw 3's ...
oh you have to get the navi... no one else's can even come close to the ones from honda

i bit...picking it up tomorrow!

specs:

05 TL
6spd
no nav
7700 miles

this was the easiest car purchase i have ever had...kind of freaked me out because they agreed on the price i wanted for the TL AND on my trade-in. almost feels like something is too good to be true. even got the sales guy to throw in wheel locks and all-season mats. hahaha

it's acura certified, so the bumper-to-bumper warranty ends up actually being longer than if i had bought a new one. yeah! (i'm a warranty lover)

acura dealers, in my experience, really treat customers well and you'll find pretty good service too
you'll enjoy the car :)

If you can find one from the dealer that is what your looking for most definatly buy from dealer. It is a lot more likely to have a good fit. If not from dealer then go to brick and mortar bus. they will probally have examples to look at or you might get lucky and they have it in stock. If so inclined, it is not difficult to install. take you time during layout, you only get one chance drilling holes. it may, however need to be painted.

good luck

Naw, I ended up ordering it from Canada via EBay... nexus helped me mount it (came fully finished with mounting tape). All we needed was some wax remover and a heat gun. It's been on solid for a year now.
