smart car on the road this weekend

seen one of them a blue one in fact. this thing looked like smaller then a cooper .in fact i feel you be safer in a cooper or even baby buggy powered with a 6 hp Honda . going down the road .then being in of these cars if i was even tap by any other car . those things are so small .

I've seen a few lately. Funny thing is that they've been out for almost 6 years or so in England (where I first saw them). Yes, they are definately smaller than a Cooper. They are bigger than they look in the inside (guy let me check his out). It gets around 40mpg according to him. Sadly, my much larger Geo gets better gas milage. But I give style points to the Smart Car.

Yeah, I've seen this. That's really impressive. You'd probably die of whiplash though (in any car).

Wow that was impressive for that size of car, but christ the gas mileage you would expect 50+ mpg. Anyone know how many ponies under the hood and size?

Even at that weight, I can't figure out why eleven inch rotors are required to stop the thing. I also just noticed that the engine requires premium gas.
