i think my fillup today was $2.59 or $2.69/gallon...that was for premium. it's about time for an increase...just let the sticker shock settle down and desensitize everyone for the next baseline increase. that, plus summer is coming...

Well, OPEC keeps cutting production because they got used to $3-4 per gallon. Not much we can do about that except to not use gas. In St. Louis, it was $2.39 yesterday for regular. Haven't checked today. Good thing I filled up about 5 days ago & don't drive much.

I think its around 2.65 here... but I don't pay too close attention to it any more. Now Diesel has held around 2.12 for what seems like the last 3 months and has just this week gone up to 2.25.

$2.81 here as of this morning. they should lock the speculators out of this market they have way too much control over it.

$2.99 for reg, and $3.19 for premium as of today in Southern CA at the local Chevron station, but I've seen Arco this morning even higher, so I'm sure when I head home that the Chevron will be higher.
