today made it over to see the car . here what I know at the moment, needs front and rear brakes . new top as in last post. check engine light .may need a rear wheel bearing but not sure .check engine lights on will have to get it scanned. there a high idle when you start it. there a sound under the car like a loose converter shield plate . needs a good cleaning its dirty . I report as I check or get it checked out.

You can get the code by doing the key dance. I don't remember if the code displays on the evic or if the check engine blinks the code for that year.

Do yourself a favor and pick up one of those cheap ELM327 Bluetooth OBDII scanners.

And for $15, you can do almost everything that most of those expensive scan tools can do. I bought one a couple years ago, and it's more than paid for itself.
