hey! lookin to do the windows on the Blackbird, normally i've stuck with the chrome tint, but i think im going to stick with the limo black for the car to stick with the all black Motif, I'm a fan of the DIY install, anyone have any experience with brands of tint? whats the best kind i can get? any tips? im lookin for somethin dark, but not to the point where it will impair visibility!

I would go for 5%, I don't know what is legal in canada, but if you can tint your driver and passenger windows too, then go about 20% on those too.

Yeah, careful with the "legal" requirements on tint.
Having said that, my bud from class put a 3% limo on his Chevette, and not only was it cool in the car, but at night, he couldn't see dip shit.

hey guys, well looks like i bought into peer pressure, i now hoave 20% limmo tint on my back hatch, and now 5% on the sides my cousin had 2 1/2 on his truck, thats DARK

Good choice. I plan on tinting my back three windows(hatch & 2 side windows) 5%.

Renovation, Use a razor blade to get the film off than some rubbing acholol to get the glue off. Once the gule is softened use the razor blade again. Keep the blade flat on the glass. If you put to much preasure on one side of the blade, It will scratch the glass.

started today, took my door panels off, as well as side mirror mountings, i cleaned the living daylights out of the windows, and got one done today, it took 1 hour of squeegeeing !! damn huge multicurved window! but sure enough we got it, the car looks phoenominal! hopefully we can have as much luck tomorrow..

I got my Civic tinted awhile ago. I have 35% Mirror Tint all the way around. Looks good. Police love me now I put food on their table like nobodys business.
