Didn't anyone take a moment to think that it might be a bit much for such a small vehicle? LOL

I've only seen jet power used on a 1/4 mile straight drag strip here in the USA. This maybe the reason the cars are moving to dam fast to take a turn. Or maybe us Americans are smart enough to know this would happen . :)

The poster says it was a malfunction. The driver was actually going to turn around there and race down the straightaway.

Throttle stuck open? Should have killed the engine. Trying to steer with a turbine will cause any platform to not turn. The engine is a giant gyro.

I hate to see them wreck. They should really be using a good dragstrip in case incidents like these happen. They'd have plenty of room to stop.

...and the jet powered dragsters are very long and specifically made to handle that kind of power. One doesn't just strap a jet to anything like that nor even try driving it towards a turn.
