Rewind to 16yrs old again

This car is systematic, hyyydromatic...why it's greased lightning!

Congrats, I know the nervous feeling of a first time crank on an engine. I have had a few where nothing ever went wrong and I still was nervous for years because I was sure I missed something.

Changed to NKG 8s, new plug wires, leveled the car out, lowered the float levels a few turns, gave it the timing it wanted and BAM....runs like a monster! My poor neighbors are going to kill me busting this thing off with open headers with 4" collectors @ 8pm!

8pm... sounds like an excuse to go out and talk to the neighbor.

I hate Facebook. It requires me to login to a Facebook account or sign up.
Christians warn us about the anti-christ for 2,000 years, and when he shows up, they buy a bible from him.

Here is a direct link to the video. It shouldn't ask you for a login.

Well something happened....no oil pressure at idle when hot in gear. Has plenty cruising. Either oil pump stud came loose and is bleeding out at low rpm, or something else let go like a plug or something. Going to start pulling the motor tonight. Hope to have it out by the weekend and pull the pan/valve covers/intake off and see what the f...is going on.

Dang, that's a shame. Never something simple.

Before you do that, did you check the sending unit and gauge? I'm assuming you're using an electric gauge so maybe the sweep of the sender and gauge don't match. It would be nice if it was something relatively simple and not that you really have low oil pressure.
