I hope the engines don't have to be destroyed like they did with cash for clunkers. I could use a few extra engines for various repowering projects.

My diesel is too old (03) so I don't have a horse in this race per say... but my car has over 230K miles and has been hopped up and still gets 50-45 mpg. I just hope I can find another body to put my engine in. There are a few out there that have had the same drive train in like 3 different cars and have over a million miles on the same engine I have.
I just have projects that I could use some 2.0 TDIs in and if they get real cheap all the better.
