figured it out was a semi cheap fix .the Canister Purge Valve went bad .$33.00 for the part and 20 min's to install . before today i never heard of such a part . if i had gone into a repair shop and they told me the name of the part. I think they were pulling my leg . then gone to a different repair shop .If they had fix it I would of thought . they just got me very hard for a replacement battery in are key bobs .
at first that was all I thought was wrong .that the key bobs battery's were weak so the car wouldn't auto start. did a bit of online research and bingo .then I thought this was going to be a dealer part and costly .sure glad I was wrong . on wife's 2008 Saturn Vue was easy to get at.just one 10 mm bolt .the vacuum lines were a bit tougher free the retainer clips. but in like said 15 to 20 min's start to finish swap out and computer memory reset ~ all working again and Wife Happy.
