The whole problem with making a gas powered compression engine has been making the injectors work with no lubrication. In a diesel engine the fuel doubles as a lubricant for the injectors. You can put gas in a diesel engine but it wont last long as the injectors will wear out rapidly with out the lubrication from the fuel.
