was just at my local repair shop today talking with the owner .he was telling me is use to repairing used cars . this would be normal but do to the car shortages today. he swap with work on cars that would in normal time be sent to the junk yard. he said used car are in very high demand . he tired of working on what would normally been scraped out .but his clients are paying him top dollar to keep them on the road. and he expecting it only to get worst in the near future. when the flooded out cars start showing up. he seeing part shortages and people bring him parts cars out of junk yards to strip and repair there cars with . im not talking body parts here were talking motor ,electrical, front end and drive train parts . new cars are in short supply and demand is high for use car today . we drive by any car dealer lot new and used by me and there empty .
i was in there for a simple oil change and we got talking .
