FT - Goodies for a linux router

Post by dr_romulus »

If anyone is interested I have the following combo up for trade. I'm not looking for anything specific so toss up any trade ideas if you are interested. I used this exact setup as a firewall/router for a while as a fun project.

Motherboard ( SiS 85C496 chipset ) with the following installed:
AMD 5x86-120
32 Meg RAM ( 30 pin & 72 pin)
2 Meg PCI Video (w/ TV out)
Fujitsu 1.2 Gb HDD
200 Watt AT PSU w/ power cable

The only thing missing is a FDD. It is currently mounted on a motherboard tray from an old AT case. I had this screwed to a piece of plywood hanging on the wall in my basement.

Anyone that trades me something good for this Linux rig will get a copy of NetBSD (great BSD router distro) and an original 3Dfx monster add-on card (w/ pass-thru cable) tossed in with it for free.
