Anyone have a Gameboy color they want to sell?

Post by xman1102 »

My wife found several gameboy color games and a used system at a yard sell today and our little boy loves it (although he doesn't know what he's doing 99% of the time). Only problem is that the speaker is screwed up and it makes this awful noise when he's playing it.

So i looked at Ebay and of course they have tons for sell used, but since these are older system, most on Ebay are scratched up or missing battery covers or what not. So i was wondering if anyone here has one lying around they'd like to sell thats in decent condition?

Just so you know, you can also get the new DS, it will play the old games

Sorry, Dopey, but that's incorrect. The DS will only play GBA and DS games, but no GBC/GB games.

You could get either the used color or a used GBA, but no DS. If I had one, I'd offere it, but I don't. Sorry! Try checking your local video game store, too. If you can't find one, I can get you one for about 10-15$

hmm, I though that it could play all old games, I just never looked too far into it. I guess I should read my manual, heh

I'll have to check Monday. Pretty sure one of the three stores here has them. If so, I'll PM with details.

The games are keyed differently. On the GBA cartridge, there is a notch that is not present on the GBC games. And the DS doesn't have the processor to run GBC/GB coding. It's a bunch of crap if you ask me.
