my friend hawk, has a guy who is a liquidator send radeons out for him. so hawk takes the money, gives it to him and they get sent. is that a group buy?

If your friend owns and has in his possesion ready for shipping the goods, then it is not really a group buy, if on the other hand he needs others money prior to his purchase then it is a group buy. The logistics behind a large group buy is just a formula for disaster, and we do not want to see any traders lose a rep or money over something that may just have gotten out of hand. We are taking the initiative to protect you and all of our traders and members upon ourselves. This method will also help us in that it will take much less work than trying to resolve some of the messes we have been called upon to resolve, by preventing them from occuring. We hope you understand, but this is something we feel is necessary.

And yes hans, if he doesn't have them in his possession when he is selling them then it is a group buy. He should be able to send one out if one is purchased and not wait around for others to purchase whatever amount.

And the official word is it's Snelski's fault.

Hey mod I have a question. Why is the definition if you don't own it you can't sell it instead of something like "requires more than 2 people giving their money to a single person, and then that person takes all the money and buys in bulk and then distributes to the people that paid"?

Oh, and I just read your reply (sorry, didn't before). I don't actually have the cards myself, but I don't need the buyer's money before I can get the cards (I've "cross-shipped" with quite a few people already). So I don't know...anyway, thanks.
