What is the average seek time on those IBM Deskstar 60GXP 40GB 7200 rpm? Quote: "new sealed" Meaning they are still packaged, right?

(new sealed)

yes, they are sealed in antistatic wrap and still in the bubble wrap they came in. Can't tell you the exact specs on performance, I know they outperform the 7200 RPM IBM Deskstar 75GXP though.... they are pretty fast drives, I benchmarked one and got a drive score in sisoft of 23k or higher.... the standard 7200 was significantly slower i noticed

Then I will take one! :)

Question: If I use RAID, should both my hard drives be the same size?

Thanks!

Also, should I e-mail you my address and stuff?
