FS: Abit BX6 and Abit BF6 (read inside) $50 plus shipping

Post by Pygmy »

I bought this mobo (Abit BX6 rev 1) thinking it would be a nice cheap solution for a computer I was building. Well, the thing is that it is about 1/2 cm too large for the case I have. The BX6 is 305 mm x 245 mm.

I can throw in an Abit BF6 that works intermittently. It worked for a while, but then when I tried to switch out the CPU, it started getting a bit buggy. Sometimes it doesn't recognize the IDE devices and stalls on the BIOS. Sometimes it works fine. The plastic on one of the IDE connectors is a bit broken as well, but it still stays fine.

No guarantees on the BF6. How about $50 plus shipping?

You can probably RMA those to Abit. I've done so with a couple boards that died even without any proof of purchase. They're REALLY cool about it. Shoot me an e-mail if you want the RMA form.
