I'm going home next Wed and wanna do a little upgrade on my bro's computer while I'm there. He's got Celeron 300@450 running on BH6 with V3 2000. I wanna bump that setup upto 1Ghz celeron and GeForce2 Pro or even possibly GeForce3 Ti 200 if there's someone here wants to let his/her go.

Whatever I end up buying, I need the item absolutely by next Friday since that's the last day I'll be home and my bro wouldn't know what to do with the new computer stuff :) I'm willing to pay in whatever means necessary - paypal might be the best option here.

I also need slocket and heatsink/fan to go with the CPU since the 300A is a slot 1.

Let me know what you got.

I may even consider an AMD combo (MB + Duron/XP + HSF) if the price is right.

Did the same upgrade on a pals bh6,bought a generic super slotket and a 1 gig celery.Make sure you get the 128k celery slotket combo, the newer 256k celery won't work(that I know of).He had an older bios(nk?)pcb rev.1.1,it only booted up as a pIII 850,but sissoft sandra recognized it as a 1 gig celery,so we passed on the bios upgrade. It works fine and benches as such.Made a big difference compared to his 433 celery, and delayed a m/b cpu upgrade for a while.Good luck.

I have the same setup running on my BX motherboard as well :) Cely 633@950. Runs most games ok altho I'll prolly need to get a new vid myself - I got Radeon DDR.

I didn't know about the cache issue - been out of loop for a while. Thanks for the heads up
