Ok All.. I have two sticks of PC-133 128mb I'm looking to trade for two sticks of PC-100 128mb. LMK what you have!! The two sticks I have are BRAND NEW kingstons. But the Machines I bought them for won't support 133. TIA.. eGo

TTT this is some good stuff guys!! It's BRAND NEW! Somebody help a guy out here and upgrade you old PC-100 for my New PC-133!! I'll even take one stick of 256mb PC-100 for the two.. Just make me some offers people!

it doesnt have to support 133, ram is backwards compatable in that way.

Even if the machines won't support PC133 meaning it won't do 133 fsb the ram will still work in them would even work in a machine designed for PC66

to all those saying yes it will work no matter what, call HP and ask them about thier pavillion. It will ONLY accept pc100 RAM, no matter how hard or what brand you try, nothing but PC 100 will work. I know this from several on hand experiences.

That's what COMPAQ and eMachine said about their PCs too (just got some email from them).. That's the only reason I'm going through all of this trouble.. eGo

I don't see why it wouldn't its the same kind of ram only the spd on it is programmed different to say its pc133 I put 256 Meg Stick of PC133 into a cheap ass HP with a 500 celeron and its running fine in it. If it was me i'd try it anyways... they must have something in the bios that says it can only take pc100 if so thats one more reason not to buy those shit computers...

I'm with you Pred. I wouldn't buy these crappy things now, but I bought mine 2 years ago before I knew as much about puters as I do now, and my mom bought her's without me knowing about it. But the bios CAN be flashed.. But they aren't removable so if it goes bad.. I'm SOL lol... So that's why I'm hunting for the PC100.. Thanks for your input though!! eGo

I have two DIMMs that say "GoldenRAM" on them. They are PC100, 128meg.
