Looking for mb/cpu combo

My 7 year old son (bless him) wants to build his first computer!
He has been saving his money, which is hard at his age and has 30.00.
I tild him id pitch in 10 so we have roughy 40.00 to spend
Looking for a athlon/duron/celeron/or p3 combo for the price

I've got a 1 gig Duron i'll sell ya for 12 shipped. The core looks nasty has some seriously rought edges but the sucker ran for over a year for me at 1.2 gigs. And it will work on most older cheap boards out there too. It hasnt' been used for over a year i pulled it out of my server for a 1700+ then sold the server. Been hanging onto it as a spare incase i lost a cpu but i'm not really overclocking anymore and its just collecting dust.

Hey Bill,
I have an FIC board with a built-in Radeon, NIC, Sound, a Duron 800 or 1 Gig (I can't remember), 2 sticks of 128mb DDR 2100, and hs/fan.
You can have it all for about $10-$12 (basically cover the shipping).
HERE IS THE KICKER ....
I have yet to get this to work. HOWEVER I have spent all of 5 minutes on it ... thats it. I installed, turned it on and she didn't come up, I looked at it for a minute and turned it off. I have yet to bother with it since. I don't think there is actually anything wrong with it but I honestly don't have time to bother with it.
There is no manual for the motherboard or original box.
