Poor Ukrainian wanting to upgrade computer

Post by Reg Kmet »

hello all! well as the post says i am poor and looking to upgrade my pc, so nothing too fancy. I have a celeron overclocked to 750 mhz, and a tnt 2 with 32 megs of video and tv out. Demrok has suggested that i get a elitegroup k7sem and like an athlon 2200xp, i have a globalwin fop32 i hope that would work as a heatsink? also i need some better video maybe like a radeon 9200 se? now im idont have much money with going to school and all, but i am not looking for a handout, but i would be very greatful for a good deal. so please let me know what you have or if you have any suggestions for building a cheaper syetem!

Epox 8rda3+
AMD xp 2500
radeon 9600
some decent ram

that should be a fairly cheap build and a good bang for the buck.

4th page of: ftp://ftp.epox.com/motherboard/support/Manual/cpu-support.pdf

Up to an XP2600+ TBred A (266mhz FSB) with the latest BIOS, which I'm pretty sure I have. It also has the AWDFlash utility built into the BIOS, so it makes it super easy to flash the BIOS: all you do is extract the *.bin file onto a floppy, then when the BIOS POST's, press a couple keys and that's it.

I might also toss in an XP1700+ @ 1.8ghz if you want. LMK dood :)
