the person i was asking for opted to get a new laptop. well its mine now, i need 2 256mb or better low density 144 pin pc100 sodimm

I think I have a couple of 256 mb sticks. I will have to check in the morning.

I have some PC133 256mb sticks that I can't use. They aren't low density though, so you need to be sure if they'll work for ya (have a couple IBMs that are fine with them, but every Compaq that I've tried rejects them, haven't tried others).
