WTB: Desktop PC

A friend of mine is looking for a used PC. She is not a gamer. Goes to school. Does not want a laptop and prefers a desktop unit. Prefers XP as the OS.
Anyone have a used PC they would like to sell? She is looking to spend no more that $250.

Being that shipping a desktop PC could get costly, you might want to check Craigslist for local listings.

or see if there is a local shop that recycles for the government. There is one here where I buy used stuff for the office when we're broke. Picked up a dell opteron p4 3000/1gb/xp 1 yr warranty for $200

Check the local Mom & Pop computer shops for used systems.

too bad I didn't see your post a couple days ago. I just sold off an AM2 system (x2 4000+, 2GB DDR2, 120GB HD, DVDRW, WinXP Pro) for $125 locally and would have gladly shipped for $155-160 total. Pretty sure if you peruse Craigslist you should be able to find a unit locally for well below $250. Good Luck!
