WTB: AGP or PCI video card

Post by DaMaN »

Trying to keep an old AMD PC going where the onboard vid card has seen better days. No gaming on this rig, basic 2D windows usage.

Figured I try here first before going on Flea-bay.

Paypal ready.

Thanks,

-David

I have an AGP ATI Radeon 9800. Free to a good home.

I found it. It's actually an AGP. I also found a PCI 14.4K Modem/soundcard.

I would take that Velocity as a backup. The 9800 ran fine the last time I used it. I've been carrying it around in my kit as a test card. There is one capacitor on the card that is SLIGHTLY swollen when I looked at it carefully, though. No leakage yet.

I'm also going to check my junk pile to see if I have any other AGP cards. I have no need of them at this point.

Before I moved, I got rid of all my old hardware. Since I was downsizing, I did not have room for all my PC junk, so I sold all of it to a local PC shop for pennies on the dollar.

I noticed that after I was unpacking, I kept my old US Robotics V Everything 56k modem, which was the tits back in the day. Is this thing worth any money?

PM sent. I was wrong about the card. It's actually a 32MB GForce 2 according to the part.

Okay, in addition to that ATI Radeon 9800 (2003), I also have an Asus Radeon 9550SE (2004) and a Visiontek Geforce 3 Ti200 (2001). All three have those early tiny fans that tend to fail prematurely. The Geforce3 has a replacement fan on it that plugs into a hard drive connector.

You're welcome to all three. I can fit them all in a medium Priority Mail box. Postage is on me.

LMK.
