Raid setup on my KT7A-Raid

well if you can get another 30giger to match then raid that set as the boot drive and the 2 15gigers as the second raid set. im to tired to think of anything else.

Been looking for another 30g of the same model as the first
Cant find one at a good price..and wont pay more than I paid for the first one

I have a 30g Maxtor 7200 ATA66 coming would I be able to raid that with my 30g ATA100 Drive
If so
Would I take a performance hit by doing so?

all maxtor ata66 drives are able 2 be flashed to ata100 from what I remember. it should be on maxtors site. so that fixes that.

don't even bother raiding the 2 5400rpm drives...
i didn't notice any difference when i raided mine over my single 7200rpm...
now 2 7200rpm's... that's a whole 'nother story

But set raid up with 2-30G 7200 RPM Drives 1 ATA100 1 ATA66

SiSandra was 29792 on the Drive bench mark not too shaby
