NE1 unlock an XP yet?

just got me an XP...
anyone try unlocking one yet?
i've attempted it... but have yet to test the cpu out

Nah, too poor right now. The new owners came through and layed off 50 of us. Guess I'll just have to be satisfied with a 1G t-bird @ 1200 for now.
I have seen it done online...looks kind of like micro-bodywork, filling and leveling the new pits and such. (does bondo conduct?
)

actually... my attempt was really easy...
just make sure you have good eyes and good amount of transparent tape...
it was just a hassle to have to wait for each bridge to dry out before moving on to the next...
i do miss the old L1's where all you have to do is draw a pencil on it...
but still not too bad...
buy it unlocked

This is a copout, but you can buy them unlocked as well @ the overclockerzstore... My friend got an xp1600+ running at 1540, just like mine...

i read in article long time ago that said you can use crayon to unlock it and use metalic paste on top of it to unlock not sure it works i will try to find aritcle and post a link

i'll stick w/ what works..
besides... pencil doesn't work cuz it has too must resistance
