will mixing 256mb pc133 samsung slow with 256mb corsair pc133 slow the corsair down?

not unless you have to lower the settings in the bios.

your machine will run as fast as it's slowest component................
if both sticks are the same speed, it will run at that speed
if they have different timings as default and you cant change them in the bios, it will run at the loosest (is that a word) timings
