Well? And if you have more than one Socket type, which one do you think is faster?

2 out of 3
Main home built desktop runs an AMD 64 3500+ (Winchester) that's 939 pin and my new laptop runs an AMD 64 3400 that's 754 pin. # of pins was never a factor to me really, couldn't have ordered either any other way.
The desktop's seemingly faster but for many reasons other than the # of cpu pins. To know that, you'ld really have to do an apple to apple comparison assuming that one could get the exact same cpu/mobo with different # of pins like 754 vs 939.

Next upgrade will be when the agp is finally gone probably.
