I just put together 4400+ dual core system and my temps were too high.
49c and 66c under load. So I read all the posts and questions on cooling. I pulled the heatsink, repasted it reinstalled the heatsink. Now my temps are 37c idle and in the 40's under load.

So thanx for the advice everyone!

ive overclocked mine now to the 4800 X2 specs, temps are

idle = 38
load = 46 (been running F@H for three days solid now

)

Hey 123 what did u do to overclock your rig? Settings etc......

just upped the FSB to 219, so the 4400 is clocked a little over the 4800 at 2409Mhz. not gonna really push this cpu dont really see the need, ive looked on forums and seen people get much higher clock speeds than that, its a good little overclocker this one.
