Iwill KK266, MSI K7T Turbo, or Epox 8KTA3?
Anybody have any wisdom to offer? Can I really learn to love a Via chipset?
Which motherboard?
They (VIA) pretty much make the best sdr chipset for Athlons. You might want to cruise thru here..

....as they have forums for each of the mfgrs mobos. I know Greg likes his A7V133s (VIA) and I love my Iwill KK266R (VIA) so there is hope.

AMD Ph II X4 955 BE 3.2 @ 3.8 GHz | Scythe SCSMZ-2000 | ASRock 880GMH/USB3 | 8 GB G.Skill DDR3 1600 | Radeon HD5670 | Kingston 128GB SSD
I like my Asus A7V133 ok, also had some good luck with the abit, but not latley Something I'll have to work out is all.
Out of the three you mentioned I would go with the Iwill.

The only gripe I have with my Iwill KK266 is the orientation of the socket A. It's a real pain in the rear if you want to change heatsinks or do anything with your cpu. I have to remove the power supply (or the motherboard) from my case to remove the heatsink. Granted you shouldn't need to do this often but the Epox Model 8KTA3 http://204.118.172.124/productimage/13-123-133-01.JPG at NewEgg might be an easier go.
Woulld really like to have one of those boards just for comparison. They sure get some nice reviews.
