oh yeah... does anyone know when the heck is the release gonna be for the palomino?

You kind of answered your own question insofar as there is no firm release date. Grab a t-bird and get on with it man!

The desktop release of the palamino is gonna be in august. The Athlon MP(palamino for servers) should be out now or any time now.
