addtron firewall problems

Bought a addtron router some time ago and cannot figure out how to turn off the firewall, need to shut it off for hosting games and filesharing over the net. Any suggestions anyone, i get into the software for it but I dont know what I should be messing with in it. Model: addtron adre200p any suggestions would be greatly appriciated

not sure about that router but my linksys has a DMZ host in it. What you do is set this to the IP of the computer that you wish to do those things. what it does is expose that computer to the internet so everything is open. It is recommended to run a software firewall when doing this though. Might check in the setup of that router to see if ti has a DMZ host but if it does just find the ip of the computer put it in and your set.
