The 3.5 year old Samsung tablet that I keep in my car died, and I swore I'd never buy another Samsung device again. I despise their version of Android. Why they feel compelled to put every setting in a completely different place than standard Android just baffles me. And don't start me on their bloatware.
The Lenovo Tab P12 is running pure Android, with one or two Lenovo apps, mainly for supporting their BT stylus that comes with it.
The screen is a huge 12 inches, and it's gorgeous. Lot's of horsepower. I haven't used the stylus much, but it supports handwriting conversion: you can write free hand (script or block letters) in any text box in any app, and it will convert it to text.
I am really loving the tablet.

Same reason I never got an updated Android phone from Samsung and went with a Google Pixel 8 Pro instead when I traded in my Samsung S9 a couple of years ago. I had a couple of issues I did not like from Samsung:
1. They no longer updated their OS. I had no idea and never received notification that they were stopping updates to the phone.
2. Bloatware.
