HElp! installing SCSI Iomega Internal to WinNT4

Post by dsharky »

Hi everyone!
I need help installing a SCSI Iomega internal zip drive to WinNT. I'm using a HP Kayak(IDE) workstation and I was given the assignment of installing an Iomega SCSI(came with an Adaptec AVA1502 ISA SCSI adapter) on Win NT4(service pack 6). HOwever, not matter waht i do, i can't install it.

The problem: I've installed Adaptec's driver for the AVA150x series SCSI card, and under ControlPanel/SCSI adapter/Driver tab, it keeps saying "AVA150x card NOT STARTED"

I've heard that i need some ASPI driver(which i've isntalled); I made sure that my resources free(IRQ11, Port 340H), and neither the card/nor the drive is defective i'm told because it worked on other machines before.

what else can i be doing wrong? PLEASE HELP! thanks!
