p150@200?
p150@200?
i know that a lot of it depends on the board, but is this a realistic quest, or is an extra 45mhz too much of a push for this processor? right now its running stable at 166.

Forget it. Classic Pentiums weren't know for their overclockability. The major exception is the P-166 - I've NEVER seen one that wouldn't do 200. Bolsters the theory that the P-166 is really just a failed 200.

damnit! and i had a chance to get a p166 mmx too...
edit:
i was bored so i tried it just for the hell of it. it ran through post fine, started loading windows, then threw a shutdown screen at me *L* id try it at 180, which it should be able to do (the person who owned it previously had it stable at something like 187.5 on another board) but then the fsb would only be at 60mhz instead of 66.
