I'm still running an Abit BH6 as well, so it's probably been 3 years??? I have a PIII600, but I'm planning on replacing it because of problems with the memory (not the sticks). I can only have 128 megs in the board, as adding another stick will cause random lock-ups. The sticks also have to be in slots #1 and #2. If I try any other combination of ram, I get random lock-ups. So I'm going to swap it out with an Abit BF6 which allows me to use 256 ram sticks intead of 128 only.

Mine is less then a year old (CUSL2), although I went through three in about three months before that! BX6->P3V4X->CUSL2 My parents are still running a BH6 though.

I had the same problems with my parents BH6 where everytime I would put memory in the third socket, the system would either not boot or freeze randomly. However, I just put 2x256MB sticks in their board (mom does a lot of graphics intensive editing). I used the 1st and 2nd sockets again, but it works just fine with 512MB. You may want to try bigger sticks before you just give up on the board.
On a long enough time line, the survival rate for everyone drops to zero.
My main rig has an Abit KA7-100 that I've had for about a year now. Paid $150 way back when Now it probably goes for about $70 maybe $80 since it does have the two ATA/100 controllers on it.
