Heres the deal.
I have a Divix encoded .avi movie.
The movie size is 707Megs and CDrs are only 700 as you know.
Is there a editor that would allow me to cut off the end credits so that I could possibly get down to CD size.
Im not one that likes to store this on my HDD
AVI editor?

It's also NOT easy doing what you want to do. I have Premiere and tried it. I've been looking for someone to explain how to do it.
The problem is that when you re-encode the video, you have to use the Divx codec and MP3 audio (from everything I've read), however nothing I've encoded over a few minutes will keep audio and video in sync.

VirtualDub is the program best suited to edit DivX, plus it's free
