Is a super orb enough for an Athlon XP?

Is an Orb your only choice? Cause there are much better heat sinks at not much higher prices. The Dragon is adequate, but has a failure prone fan and EXTREMELY heavy. Also, quite noisy, I understand.

The XP versions are a bit cooler than the original Tbirds', but not all that much cooler. Globalwin makes some pretty decent coolers for not too much money, also Vantek has some good, reasonable stuff. I'm sure someone will come in with some excellent suggestions

true i have two dragon orbs and they make alot of noise
not only that but after a few times of taking dragon orb of the cpu the clip kind of gets messed up it took me half and hour to put back the stupid dragon orb after trying to run a celeron on my vp6. its a good fan but just to much noise if you buy one buy some earplugs too.
