Icon problem

I recently upgraded a friends computer from w95 to w98. The My computer and recycle bin icons on the desktop now look like this.<img src="http://www.geocities.com/justmefromer/icon.jpg">

The darn things open and I haven't noticed any problems but need to get them back to the original icons. I've tried re-installing 98 and have used tweakUI's icon repair. Didn't change the icons tho.

Try unchecking the option to "Show icons using all possible colors", restart the computer, and then re-check it.

Try this.

Right Click -> Properties -> Effects Tab -> (click) Default Icon.

If that doesn't work, try changing the icon and then clicking "Default Icon" Hope that works for ya, bud.
