Ok...I need some opinions here... (FYI: Didn't know if this belonged in Case Mods, or here, since it had more to do w/sound)
Alright, I am trying to decide between the H1A and the L1a. I know what the differences are, the sound.
H1A: 92x92x25.5, 2.7 Watts, 56.8 CFM, 35 dB-A, .29A.
L1A: 92x92x25, 1.32 Watts, 42.7 CFM, 27 dB-A.
There is a very big difference in how much air these move. I will be hooking up a fanbus to the four Panaflo's I will be getting. Is 27 dBa really silent? See, the main reason I want quiet, is because I want to be able to sleep at night, as my computer is in my bed room. But, at the same time, if I slowed a L1A down (to around 7-8volts) it would probably be moving HALF the air, with only a few dBa's lost, right? Therefore, wouldn't it be much more worthwhile I get the H1a's because then they at least are moving 30cfm of air at 7 volts? OR, would the H1A's be able to get to at least 27 DBA's? I would like at least 27, what is a basic rule of how much DBA goes down with half the voltage? Could anyone help out? I am thinking, maybe 2 of each, a H1A and an L1A in the Front and Back. That way I get some nice airflow, but also some quiet? I don't know, could use some help here.
Thanks!

LOL.
Guess what I just found!! Enermax UltraCool fans w/ speed-dial!
What I might do:
Strip the 3pin connectors, hook them up to my fanbus (which I will be getting) and maybe make it so my main 12 volt input from the fanbus is whatever I like best, then make it slower when I sleep.
Any opinions? Would this work, or is it just stupid?
BTW: I found them for $9 each..
