Hey hey, everyone, I'm finally retiring my old P2 450@504 / Asus P2B-LS which has powered my box for the last 2 years.
I have a nice combo incoming from Skorp but I need to replace 512MB of slow PC100 CAS3 memory with some fast 2x256MB PC133 CAS2 sticks.
Pricewatch suxs when you're searching for quality RAM and reliable retailers. I'm open for any suggestions and I need them soon. The combo might arrive by saturday and I have a few days off over the holidays, perfect upgrade time.
This thread is sorta OT but definetly hardware related
Need reliable shop for PC133 CAS2 256MB
You gettin that Tbird @ 1.2ghz on the MSI board? Sweet setup! Doesn't Skorpion1g also sell that Vitalic or whhatever Cas2 ram that runs up to like 170fsb??

Well, I found a retailer .... shady shop .... but I already ordered and already got mail that it's on it's way.
I ordered 2x 256MB Kingmax TinyBGA PC133 for $305 shipped overnight ... According to this review http://www.thetechzone.com/reviews/ram/ ... /index.htm it should run fine with CAS2 at 133 ... me hopes and waits.
Next best thing was Corsair PC133 CAS2, Saturn told me to check them out ... but they would've been like $377 shipped overnight ...
Wish me good luck ... I'm getting closer to be back in braggin' business
