Hi ya'll ... I still have the Abit BH 6 mobo and I want to just upgrade the cpu after xmas.
Just curious as to what is the fastest chip I can put in it that is also a good overclocker.?
Either a Celeron 2 or a P 3 is what I want.
It has the old celery 300 a @ 450 in it now.
I will be gettin a whole new system through my work in January so this will be a second comp, unless the new one is not that good.( I think its a celery 667 or 733 with 16 meg video card etc...its an HP and its only $10.00 cdn per month with free internet.)
thanks for any info

I believe 56/850 will work too.
Requires the latest BIOS tho.

The 566@850 is a good bet. You can get them for about $65 on priceatch, or here for around $50.

What revision is the PCB on that BH6? if its the original one you may be outta luck.. but if its the later revisions you should have no problem getting the faster chips in there. a 566 or 600 celeron2 would be perfect for that mobo...

It's been awhile since I had my BH6, but if memory serves me correctly, it's between the ISA slots at the top-left corner of this pic.
