I went to P4!

2.4B with the new gigabye Granite bay board, and it is sweeeeeeeet!

hits 166*18 no problem, but gets waayyyyy to hot, so I keep it at a mere 2.7 gigs till I get better cooling. so whats the best HSF for P4's to overclock with?? LMK

just get a cup, fill it with ice cubes, and put the case on it's side so the CPU is not vertical, then, place an ice cube on it. that'll keep it cool enough to overclock it :-D hehe when the cube melts, pile another one and so on. and if you get hungery, make an omlet with the CPU. heatsinks are for sissys
I agree with nexus_7 that hsf is very good at cooling, but also, like he said, it's a freeking BOAT! and a bear to get on! my friend bought one, and has a terrible time getting it on. other then that. should be a good one to buy.
