Upgrading urges

What do you guys do when the urge hits you? I don't need to upgrade, but 2 of those raptors in a
raid-0 and a 9800 pro sure would be fun to play with.
I'm trying to save for a high end laptop. When they keep coming up with all these things my rig would like to play with, makes it hard to do.

I can't believe I have been running an XP2000+ and the same mainboard for about a year and haven't upgraded. I have toyed with the idea of buying an nforce board and trying for a pretty big OC with a t-bred, but it hardly seems worth it. And the only thing out there that seems to offer a real performance difference would be one of the new P4's and a canterwood mainboard.
The bucks I would have to invest don't seem to offer much of performance return.
Either the hardware/Overclocking scene is real slow, or I have lost my need for speed...

I feel the need for speed ... but my wallet says no. That's why I'm still driving my tbird @ 1600 and o/c'ed GF3 Ti200 ...

Not at the moment. I don't have a job, yet I'm trying to save up some money so i can buy myself an old Holden Commodore.
