I want a badass set of speakers for like 50-80 dollars!!!

Sugesttions i don't care if its three or five pieces ..l. i just want to rock in my dorm... not to much rap or anything but i had a nice set of JBL's and the powered sub blew up after 3 years of unreal and bass abuse
but yah suggestions would be nice

go to the next second hand store or pawn shop, buy a used stereo amplifier and a few speakers, or a boombox with RCA in connections and hook it to your computer. Cant ask for more sound then that. Dont know how good that would be for gaming, but it sure rocks for music.
Thats what i use.
And i dont game.

The Logitech Z640's (I believe) are some very nice 5.1 speakers. Not as powerful as the Z560's (which I love, btw), but, I've heard they are very nice speakers. I think they can be had at NewEgg for under $80.

the Logtich Z540's or 640's i think they are hands down sound damn good for what they are. I bought my gf a set of Z340's just a 2.1 setup and it has a nice bass sound and the satalites soundgood too... of course it don't shake the windows like my Z560's do but hey they still sound good

Or buy em at Bestbuy for $99 plus tax!!
My kids got a set on her system, sound really good to us for music and movies, nice booms in UT also
I even bought me a set, haven't hooked em up yet though.
