Its not listed under the Pioneer site.

Its supposed to be a ATAPI 16x slot loading DVDROM but there's no CDROM x rating? I'm interested in one of these thingy but dunno what it is exactly.

Any info guys?

It's a slot load 16x DVD / 40X CD-ROM.

The thing rocks, I know someone with it. I forgot the exact speed it rips audio but it was something real high. (18x I think).

I have this puppy. I bought it from http://www.mwave.com and I love this thing. 16x DVD, 40x CD-ROM. I don't quite know what it rips at, but it's fast. I've done nearly all my CD's so far :) You can't go wrong with this. Plus, it's slot-load. That feature alone makes it cool! :D

Yep, I confirm, I alse have it...had ot for a couple of months now and it kicks butt. Very fast and relaible. Minor bugs like osmetimes it won't eject the disc unless you tell it to with a right click command from your mouse and it wouldn't read the Midtown Madness CD. Stil the most performant and reliable CD/DVD I've ever had...

have 3 of them and 1 of the SCSI version. All are fast in everything but ripping (the SCSI is GREAT at this)... but still not bad at all.
