It's definately a hijaacker.

I have found that running ALL three of these apps will ALWAYS remove all spyware and hijaackers:

Addware
Spybot Search and Destroy
CWShredder (this one in particular nukes some aggressive hijaackers).

All can be found at MajorGeeks in the Spyware section.

ADDITIONALLY you MUST check you HOSTS file. Even if you clean the hijaacker, if there's a redirect in your HOSTS file to a page that reloads the hijaacker you're FUBAR. Most people forget this step.

Info on how to do that here: http://69.42.74.206/help.html

Also, even though Adaware usually checks it, I like to check the proxy setting in the Connections tab in Internet Settings. Unless you're actually using a proxy (some firewalls are setup as proxies) it should be blank and unchecked..

Let me take this opportunity to ask everyone who's ever had Adaware or Spybot bail their ass out of trouble to purchase one of them or make a donation. I dunno WTF we'd do without those two fine products.

I've noticed using Mozilla helps quite a bit too .... :funny

Do you have a URL for CWShredder? I'm not having any luck on google.

Also download and install Spyware Guard (stops home pages from being changed without your permission) and Spyware Blaster (stops most spyware from being installed in the first place)
