I'm seriously considering replacing my 74Gb Raptor boot drive with a 30 or 60Gb OCZ Vertex SSD drive.
NewEgg sells the 30Gb for $149 and the 60Gb for $219: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductLi ... ex&x=0&y=0
The only thing I've been warned about is keeping these drive's firmware updated, since they're apparently tweaking performance all the time.
Also there's were some known stuttering issues that are discussed on OCZ forums but don't seem to be as much of a problem now. But the benchmarks are impressive, and I like the idea of a silent drive. My Raptor is pretty noisy and I hear the Velociraptors are just as noisy or even worse:
