My 96 yr old dad just got one of these and it seems to be helping. His voice recognition had gotten so bad it was almost impossible to talk to him. He said he got it through audiologist referral for $0. Has a wireless back end which does the transcription. I said a list of words and it was pretty accurate - they pop up on the screen after a 2 sec delay.
