Holy crap. I didn't totally believe that article until I went to Ebay and looked up prices. It's not just regular TVs for playing on consoles. VGA monitors are also selling for what they cost originally or more. Premium (in their day) good quality NEC and Samsung multisync flat tube monitors are selling for $350. Even crappy monitors are selling for $100

Yeah CRTs have been hot the last 3 years. They are becoming impossible to find to repair arcade games. Me personally I'm not that much of a snob and a LCD is good enough for me.

Still hanging on to my Commodore monitor I have had just about all my life. Still works as of last year when I used to to test an arcade board.
